New Requests for Inter Partes Reexamination in Official Gazette of March 2, 2010

This week the Official Gazette noticed seven inter partes reexamination requests. Club Car filed a request against Textron’s patent on an AC drive system for an electrically operated vehicle. CM Glo filed a request against iLIGHT Technologies’ patent on an illumination device for simulation of neon lighting. Microsoft filed two requests against VirnetX’s patents on a method for establishing secure communication link between computers of virtual private network and an agile network protocol for secure communications with assured system availability. Ours Technology (China) filed a request against Data Drive Thru’s patent on intelligent computer cabling. Samsung filed a request against Murata Manufacturing’s patent on a multilayer capacitor. Sony filed a request against Wall Wireless’ patent on a method and apparatus for creating and distributing real-time interactive media content through wireless communication networks and the internet.

New Requests for Ex Parte Reexamination in Official Gazette of March 2, 2010

This week the Official Gazette noticed fourteen ex parte reexamination requests. Bierrebi filed a request against Cortese’s patent on a support device for cutting templates. Innolux Display filed a request against Mondis Technology’s patent on an image display apparatus which both receives video information and outputs information about itself. LogMein filed a request against PB&J Software’s patent on a method and system for sharing storage space on a computer. Anonymous third parties filed requests against patents assigned to Cytori Therapeutics, Synventive Molding Solutions, Murata Manufacturing, Boston Scientific Scimed, Apple, Camco International, Pascal Corporation, and Aleksandr L. Yufa.
