Robert Greene Sterne - Director at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox

Rob serves as Chairman of the Editorial Board, and is a recognized leader in the area of patent reexaminations.  He is the lead author of the The Sedona Conference Journal paper on the subject of patent reexamination and parallel patent litigation.   Rob is frequently requested to lead industry discussions on reexamination practice and strategy, and has provided reexamination presentations before Sedona, IPO, AIPLA, LES, PLI and ACPC.  He has been actively involved with many of the high stake, high profile reexaminations in which hundreds of millions of dollars is often at stake.

Michael D. Specht - Director at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox

Mike serves as Editor for the Editorial Board.  He has been involved in both ex parte and inter partes reexaminations representing both the patent owner and the third party requester.  He focuses on reexaminations in the electronics area, with a particular focus on telecommunications and software.

Jon E. Wright - Director at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox

Jon is a co-author of the The Sedona Conference Journal paper on the subject of patent reexamination and parallel patent litigation.  He has been involved in both ex parte and inter partes reexaminations representing primarily patent owners that are also involved in concurrent litigation proceedings.  He has also represented a number of third party requesters.  He focuses on reexaminations in the electronics area and has represented reexamination clients in high profile cases involving semiconductor memory devices, computer gaming software, internet communications and telecommunications.

Lori A. Gordon - Director at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox

Lori is also a co-author of the The Sedona Conference Journal paper on the subject of patent reexamination and parallel patent litigation.  She has been involved in both ex parte and inter partes reexaminations representing both the patent owner and the third party requester.  She focuses on reexaminations in the electronics area, across a variety of technologies including RFID, XML, GPS, DVR, wireless SMS, computer memory, and telecommunications.

Gaby L. Longsworth – Director at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox

Gaby is a co-author of Reexamination Practice of Biotech/Pharma Patents in Group Art Unit 3991, the first paper to provide an in-depth analysis of patent reexamination in the biotechnology, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.  She focuses her practice on serving clients in these industries, and has been involved in ex parte reexaminations.

Byron L. Pickard – Associate at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox

Byron is co-author of Appeals from the Central Reexamination Unit, the leading publication concerning appeals of reexaminations to the Board of Patent Appeals and Intereferences.  Byron focusses his practice on patent infringement matters before U.S. district courts and reexaminations before the USPTO.  His patent reexamination practice emphasizes appeals to the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences and petitions practice before OPLA and the CRU.
