This week the Official Gazette noticed eight inter partes reexamination requests. Apple Inc. filed two requests against EMG Technology’s patents on an apparatus and method of manipulating a region on a wireless device screen for viewing, zooming and scrolling internet content and navigating internet content on a television using a simplified interface and a remote control. Costa Farms filed a request against Hubie Grown’s patent on a self-supporting live goods cage. Micron Technology filed a request against Panavision Imaging’s patent on pre-charging a wide analog bus for CMOS image sensors. StaMix filed a request against Sulzer Chemtech’s patent on stacked static mixing elements. Telecommunications Systems filed a request against Sybase’s patent on a short message gateway, system and method of providing information service for mobile telephones. Vendio Services filed a request against Mark A Wolfe’s patent on a system and method for communicating information relating to a network resource.
